with Jon Stewart. Pretty much the only show I care enough to tape when I can't watch it.
Anybody catch the Evolution Schmevolution episodes last week? Ed Helms reporting from Dayton, Tenn cracked me up. |

I *LOVE* this show.. I discovered it last year during the week of the Republican National Convention. I don't remember ever laughing that much in my life.... Yes, I caught one of the Evolution Schmevolution segments
 I'm downloading the rest later.What happened to Steven Colbert? Is he gone for good? :( |

meh.. some parts are okay, but Jon Stewart's interviews (usually take up 1/3 of the show) are incredibly boring.

Jon tried to do the five questions bit in the very begining of his reign, but they were never quite as funny as Kilburn's. I really loved Kilburn, and thought that I'd never warm up to Stewart - but all it took was Indecision 2000, and I was hooked! Now, I can hardly remember the pre-Stewart times....

Kilburn was OK but Jon is easier on the eyes and to me, just politically funnier. CK was a clown but this guy is just smart/funny.

Yeah I miss when the interview segment was very short. They seem to have let it expand, probably to make it easier to fill the episode.

Kilburn has a lot of boyish charm. I never thought I would accept another host, but Stewart made it easy. |

Well let's get some interest going.
New corresponent? Don't like him. He doesn't bring anything new to the table. Colbert, Corddry and Bee are the best. Sam is not featured nearly enough. Corddry's recent bit on the Packelope guy was HYSTERICAL. "Unicorn!" |

I just cannot like Samantha Bee. I have nothing against her. She just isn't funny. Her acting is bad, her delivery is bad. I can't like her. I love this show, but she's a weak spot IMHO. If she's a writer, that's where her talent is, not in being an on-screen personality.
That said, nothing could make me stop watching this show. Jon's rant on God......priceless. |
