I was actually thinking Susie is screwed. We're either going to see the Veronica vs. Veronica Lite (kinda like Tina trying to be a second-rate Coral) or they'll team up and form the Ultimate Bitch Force. I read over on tubescan that Cara and Derrick were originally supposed to be part of the cast, but were replaced (don't know why) by Adam and Susie. I'm surprised Susie would replace Cara since they have only wanted to challenges if the other was on. But, 1 (or 1.5 because I find Adam to be hot when he's not talking) out of 6 isn't so bad. Hopefully the people that can be voted on will be cool. According to the blog, it works like this (again, though, it's the blog):

Road Rules 14 cast is announced; Press release details the rules and uses Viewers' Revenge

MTV finally had a press release on the upcoming 14th season of Road Rules. The cast is:

Abram (South Pacific)
Adam (The Quest)
Shane (Campus Crawl)
Kina (Extreme)
Susie (Australia)
Veronica (Semester at Sea)

What's interesting about the cast is the dynamic between them that automatically sets up alliances before the game even starts. It'll be interesting to see how that plays out. The rules state that after each mission, the group nominates one male and one female. Then we at home get to chose who, of those two people, will have to go into an elimination face-off. My guess is the face-off will be against the "Pit Crew", which is the board of replacements that viewers will also be voting on at MTV.com. Check out the press release here.

What's most interesting though, is that the voted off castmembers are eligible to be thrown back in the RV. Once someone is voted off, they are in the "Pit Crew". This suggests that the "Pit Crew" is made up of former alumni as well, but that's also in question, as BMP was casting for Road Rules late last year.

The press release also states that this season will be called Road Rules 2007: Viewers' Revenge.

Yeah, I read that the "Pit Crew" were newbies. I thought they'd be other RR cast members. I would imagine the newbs that end up there would get some sort of immunity in the first vote-off after they arrive. Otherwise, the actual cast members would probably just band together.

Basically, the rules are that after a mission, one guy and girl is selected from the cast (for example's sake, I'll pick Shane and Veronica). Then, the fans vote who of the two has to face off in an elimination challenge against someone from the "Pit Crew." I don't know if fans get to vote on who from the PC goes in. I read somewhere (I think on the blog, so that may be false) that if they lose two missions, two people will be voted off. I don't know, it's really confusing. Apparently, the cast is confused as well.
