Vicki is a self-indulgent bitch and the only reason she showed up to her son's kegger was to prove to herself that she's some kind of MILF. Ashley kept tugging at her red dress during that evergy drink photo shoot. She obviously was uncomfortable in the dress. If Lou felt his own daughter Megan was not fit enough to be a model, what in the world made him think that Ashley (who is incredibly thick through the middle) would be suitable.
