The ratings for last night's episode were a dismal 5.1/8.
This show is a flop. I think people are burned out on the "one case per season" genre. Too many characters to keep track of, not enough plot resolution, too much dragging. |

well, that's it! I can admire any of you who are able to follow this story but, they just keep introducing new characters
I predicted else where that these 1 case shows will not succeed; too many good shows with new cases each week hell, CSI and CSI NY have 2 cases sometimes |

Well, I finally caught it. I liked it, but I don't see how they can hold this out for a season.

I just watched the second episode, and I'm just wondering if it was possible to introduce any more fricking characters to this mess.
If they can pull all of these storylines closed at the end of the season, then they will possibly have a really good show on their hands, but so far it's been nothing but more and more characters coming out of the woodwork. I can't even keep track of all of them. Is anyone else even watching it? |

Don't watch but
NBC's "Kidnapped" continued to struggle, drawing a 4.4/7. I'd say it's all but gone. Once The Nine begins which will prob. attract the same type of audience, I can easily see them dropping to 3 something. They should give Crossing Jordan it's timeslot. |

Especially since this isn't the kind of show that new viewers can easily jump on board midway through the season.

Yes, Kidnapped is better than Vanished. I want to love Vanished because I adore Gale Harold, but I just can't. The plot becomes more implausible with each episode.
At least with Kidnapped it seems more professional....less 'kids with cameras' filming. I'm still blown away that I just today figured out after IMDBing Jeremy Sisto that he was Elton in Clueless. From so not hot to totally hot! |

Officially Cancelled.
The producers are going to finish off the full 13 episode order, presumably for a DVD release, and then they are done. |

Watched the last episode online today, I thought it wasn't bad actually. It really suffered in the ratings but it was worth watching if you stuck with it.

I'm hoping they eventually put it out on DVD, because even though I forgot to watch the last few DVR'd episodes, I would like to see how it ends. But I just can't bring myself to sit at my computer watching TV shows.
