I was unimpressed but i'll give it another shot.
My two favorites got teamed together, the skateboarder and the black haired one. The line of the night was him saying How did they get Iggy Pop into drag. I like that guy |

Oh no, I was afriad people would be making fun of Todd's voice and teeth on Sucks, and I was right.
 Okay, his voice and presence so far aren't great, but I think once he loosens up more people will like him; he really is a fun guy and very nice. Just don't compare him to Tim Gunn...it's like comparing apples to oranges, we're talking two totally different personalities, except both are great greate guys.I liked the show, I thought the judging was right on, and there are a handful of very talented contestants. So far I like Goil, Ryan, Felicia, Erik, and Elizabeth. I thought the two that got the booted were the least talented, and I don't see the FIT girl, or John and Michael go far...although they may keep them around a bit for the *drama*. |

I actually LIKE Michael (Ralphie.) You can all ponder that in shock now.
 In fact, lemme give you my rundown so far: LIKE -Goil -Carisa -Michael -Erik MEH -Ryan -Elizabeth -Andrea -Matt (straight? right.) -Felicia (I'd like her, but she looks like she could be whiny.) DON'T LIKE -JOHN -Heather (good riddance) -Lisa (good riddance) |

I can't say that I liked any of them, except the rock and roll guy (and that's just because he called Alexis Arquet "Iggy Pop in drag"). But, I really didn't mind John. He's loud and borish, but in a way I don't blame him considering. And I would have cracked Michael in half. He went easy on him.
I just hope Jonathan Adler snaps and starts rearranging everyone's rooms. He seemed very toned down, but it looked like it took every ounce of will power to act serious. I have a feeling that won't last long. |

Liked it. Interesting to see the work they do. Is there any male in it who is not gay? I know one said he was married, but I figured he was married to a man. The cat fight between those two was funny.

When they showed those ridiculous objects, it was obvious to me that a traditional room was not going to work. They were looking for imagination and whimsy, and the sandbox room was PERFECT for that. This room wasn't meant to be the bedroom or the living room... They called it the "sanctuary". They could afford to be less functional than otherwise...
I actually wish they hadn't been given a $50,000 budget and access to any store at the design center. It made it too easy to do a room that was at least okay. The show was boring to me because there wasn't enough range (from incredible to awful) among the rooms. They were all, basically, okay. Yaaaaawn! My least favorite was the one they compared to a dorm room with the painted floor and the hideous mirrored art piece... |
