What female would be able to hold such composure after losing so many immunities in a row? Her spirit is remarkable. She's good at everything she does in challenges and...she's actually NICE. Strategy, talent, looks, athleticism...and still a nice person. Tom should take lessons from her on how to own without being a prick.

Steph had the misfortune of landing on the wrong tribe, and has had to fight to stay in the game ever since. I agree with Coby. If one of the Koror women end up winning, I will puke.

She pushes forward regardless. She has great mental strength where many others don't. You don't end up the last one standing on your tribe when you've lost all those challenges by chance. She had to have been doing something right.

She had to have been doing something right. You're confusing psychological poise and control of emotions with actual intelligence. I also loves me some Steph, but she just got her ass kicked on a puzzle challenge, and she's made three very poor decisions regarding the game. The first was obviously the decision to jump ship and attempt to swim faster than the boat, and the next two were the two votes for Bobby Jon that she cast at tribal councils. She has a really good psychological perspective on everything to be able to maintain a state of lucidity after all she's been through, but she's far from brilliant, thus far.

In Survivor, as in traditional society, more women have enjoyed success and wealth by being the Amber to a Rob M or the Tina to a Colby, than by being a Steph, Deena, or Ami. In terms of the game, Katie getting Ian to pick her instead of Steph has outweighed all the good things Steph has done since. Katie is the best Koror women, at least she has a personality.
