Yep, If he does drop out that means that all contestants will have been eliminated from one idol season. And I was thinking about Haley and Lauren

Finalists are singing their favorite song from the season. I'd strongly bet on "I Will Always Love You" and "Volcano".

It's very annoying how some Philip fans persist in thinking that he is, in any way whatsoever, the underdog. Without knowing the raw vote totals we can't really know who has been more popular lately but I will be utterly shocked if Jessica wins no matter how badly Philip sings on F2 night.

Oh, that would be awesome!

I wasn't even going to bother watching the Finale, since we know who's going to win and we've known it since the beginning of the season.

There's really no reason to watch this show at all anymore (and I've been a faithful viewer for 11 seasons) since its a foregone conclusion who will win before they even get to the live shows. Completely pointless.

Let's start the poll for next year now, and I'll just put in my vote for "boring white guy with a guitar who's just like the five before him" and I'll still win at the end of the season. Easy. (Except everyone else will do the same, AND they'll all be right too).

To me, this show jumped the shark this season with PeePee even being a contender at all.

So yeah, the only reason to tune into a the Finale is to see Josh and Fantasia with Jennifer Holiday. No doubt that's why they put that info out now. Jes sayin' because I can't think of one other reason to watch OTHER THAN TO SEE SOME OF THE ACTUALLY TALENTED PEOPLE who got kicked off come back. (I feel bad for Jessica, she is such a footnote this season. Sad for her, although I hope she gets a great song after the show and has a great career. She deserves that, at least).

I saw this on Wikipedia. The first season they allowed instruments on the show was Season 7. When did the WGWG start winning? Season 7 (David Cook). So Idol brought this unto themselves. I kinda agree with justin and I hope that they take away instruments for next season. But it'll never happen probably

If you look at the finale history, the man is always the better singer with the exception of s4.

Justin is better than Kelly
Blake is better than Jordin
Lee is better than Crystal
heck, Scotty is better than Lauren and Haley combined. Haley was the worst in the top 13 and her making the top 3 was a joke
Phillip is better than Jessica, way better

Okay Canine there's two things wrong with what you are saying.

1. X Factor AND Idol are distributed by the same company. Which means either both are completely scripted or not probably. And there's been multiple times where Idol could've been scripted

2. Then Why did America choose Jordin and Kelly?
