Juked, bad news. A. You're not really getting anything back. That's an advance on the tax money you'd normally get back next winter. and B. He's not signing any checks from his personal account. It's your money to begin with. This is the world's best publicity stunt!!

Also to contradict TC and prove she doesn't know everything....
that $300 you're getting back is a rebate based on the lower amount of taxes you'll pay for the entire year due to the first stage of the Bush tax cut taking affect. Had Al Gore been elected you would not be getting this check and your take home pay would not have gone up by $5.00 per week either. Yep, I sure can see how this tax cut will bankrupt the government and make old folks and little kids starve. Edited to add: Who's Bop? Ok TopCat, it makes perfect sense now. Want - Take - Have!
