I liked it but then again I liked Whitney and that's definitely not a popular opinion

I hope the ratings were decent enough <3

It didn't live up to the hype (how could it?), but I liked it. The ending makes me think this show isn't going to be about two waitresses for very long...

I liked the characters they were given a very real dignity that made me care. Like when the heiress was seduced by that one muscle dude but blew him off. Fierce! Will watch again.

i thought it was really good for a pilot. i will definitely keep watching.

the two girls have good chemistry and it was actually funny.

It has a TREMENDOUS amount of potential. I really quite enjoyed it, I thought it was witty, well-written, and had damn near perfect comedic timing.

She's coming = I fell off my chair.

And considering the shitshow that was 2 and a Half Men that was on before it, this was pure hilarity.
We don't need 21/2 men, we need 2 broke girls.

I agree, jelly. Strong pilot. The lead is like Darlene/a young Sara Gilbert of Roseanne.

We'll see if they can keep it going.

you are totally right. i didn't even make that connection, but seen as how i love the Roseanne show (minus the last season) and Darlene in particular, it makes sense.

i hope this show only gets better.

and gets rid of the horse. that can become a tiresome storyline.

but i have faith!!

Yeah, I think Darlene is still one of the best, most original characters ever to grace the tv screen. Unapologetically cynical. Not sure if there would have been a Daria without Darlene. And this lead seems to be following in Sara Gilbert's footsteps (which is fine by me).

And X on the horse. Way to kill the real comedy. It reminded me of first season Friends producers thinking Ross needed a monkey. Or maybe it was a twichy network executive's suggestion to 'broaden' the comedic appeal. Stick in an animal! Cause you know, animals are wacky!!

oh, Daria! i miss the days when i watched MTV for more than the RW/RR Challenges. (my lust for CT and pure hatred for Wes are the only things that keep me watching)

Max really is the best hybrid of Darlene/Daria.

ICYH, i knew there was reason i would chose you as my same sex partner if this whole "dating men thing" didn't work out for me.
