I really hope he makes the top 12 because he's really talented but I hope if he does that he doesn't crash and burn. Even though I like Chris Rene, I'm not sure his type of music is something I'd buy. But I think he'd do well regardless. He appeals to an urban audience which is good since we don't get urban artists coming off talent shows for the most part.

Posts: 16595 09/23/11 09:30 PM Registered user Reply Quote More Recent Posts	miki, i agree about the live vs. studio version, but i was happy to see that he was able to make a studio recording that sounded good. he has an album on itunes, and i clicked through the songs....not my thing, nothing i'd buy, but he has it in him to make an original album....so all good signs.... i hope the show assigns him a 24/7 sober coach, because he probably isn't ready for the pressure of the competition....

If anyone knows how to do it from a Youtube video or has seen the live X-Factor song out there (a safe site though) please share. I would buy the live song if it were available, but I cannot find it. Thanks.

Thanks. Do a search for YouTube to mp3 and there should be several sites that will let you enter the YouTube URL and it will convert it to an mp3 file. There was one I used to use called Dirpy which shut down a while back, but it looks like it's going to be starting back up in a few days. Loved it for saving mp3 files from live performances that weren't available to buy.

I had done that in the past with a hard to find Xmas song, but I had heard that YouTube had put in blocks so that it could not be converted. I should have known that software people will crack these things as soon as they are put out there. Thanks again. Really loved the song.

I didn't remember her from the auditions, but saw a portion where he was looking for her in the crowd. She is definitely related and beautiful in a unique way. I downloaded his 2 versions of Young Homie and they really are different and great. I thank God tha LA is his mentor. No matter what, this will be a launching point for him. He doesn't need to win. I heard he has massive amount of hits on YouTube and a huge fan base already.

I think he's very talented, but like cg, I also worry about him doing this in the early stages of his rehab. Hoping the best for him in all aspects of this process. <3
