lol I'll take a wildass unforshadowed guess that it's Ozzy asking to be voted out.

I'm going to stick with Christine on the duel, just out of determination. Mikayla's comment about someone half her size and twice her age applies here, too.

Possbily this duel loser goes to jury?

Just to clarify, from what you are speculating, Ozzy doesn't play the idol for himself but instead hands it over to the person on Savaii (probably either Keith or Jim) that the Upolu are going to target. Otherwise, why would Upolu cast votes against Ozzy if they thought that he was on their side. Also, it would be strategically better for Savaii to target someone who is less likely to have or be protected by the HII than an alpha male like Albert (eg. Ralph played the idol for Mike last season). Sophie would be a better choice.

Correct. Now that the Idol's public knowledge, it's actually in Ozzy's best interest to get rid of it as soon as possible, as it's only going to pain a bigger and bigger target on his back as the game proceeds.

The preview shows Upolu praying together, so the risky move would apply to Savaii. The clues are definitely pointing towards Ozzy asking to be voted out.

Epic blunder in a challenge costs a favorite - who are the supposed favorites this season? Coach, Ozzy, Cochran?

I'd bet Cochran screws up, causing Savaii to go to tribal. Ozzy volunteers to be voted out.

However I can't see this working as Upolu is better off just voting Ozzy out. Pretend to be with him, say they're targeting Keith and then vote out Ozzy. Get rid of a huge challenge threat, keep your numbers with your original tribe.

Yeah, but they're all one big love fest after the challenge win and the reward last week. I'd believe them choosing a riskier approach for the possible reward of reuniting after the merge.

Even for someone calculating like Jim, it's an extra vote to knock off a couple of former blue tribe members, then still have numbers to go after Ozzy and the idol. (When they see Mikayla out and Edna still in, they're going to think the remaining blue tribe is TIGHT. They have no way to know the split and especially that Albert and Benjamin are now on the outs.)

Sorry to bring editing in to this but HELLO, Jeff? They shoved it down our throats that Ozzy is prepared to take risks that most people wouldn't. The swan dive off the cliff with commentary from Dawn and Cochran was then book-ended with Ozzy himself telling us he wants someone from Savaii to win. Jeff thinks he's being so obscure but they're telling us everything. Even the excessive focus on Ozzy behaving pissy was a pointer. If he's going to be a Trojan horse he's already well and truly practiced his 'pissy at Savaii' mood and I reckon he's nailed it Laugh

It's not really a risky move for Ozzy. They probably all assume the merge is coming up real soon and then RI ends. If he has to go to RI, he has to beat Christine in 1 Duel and then he's back in the game with his HII if he doesn't play the thing. The pros outweigh the cons in Ozzy's mind and he's too cocky to think Christine has a shot at beating him.

I think Ozzy could make this move, but not to fake join Upolu after the merge. It's because he needs the merge to be 6-6, not 6 Upolu, 5 Savaii and 1 wildcard Redemptee.

Ozzy needs the merge to be 6-6, to at worst force a deadlock vote which would result in the purple rock drawing. If it's 6-5-1 the odds are that the redemptee wouldn't be a lock to force the tie.

Force a 6-6 tie and they draw stones with a 1-in-10 chance each personally goes home but a 50% chance somebody in their tribe does. If the other side pulls the purple rock than Savaii would have a 6-5 advantage and could conceivably pagong Upolu.

Well the Trojan horse is all about a "gift" of a massive horse that had hidden inside of it warriors. The gift was accepted (I believe it was a peace offering) and brought within the impenetrable walls of the fortress. In the night the hidden warriors came out and attacked the fortress and won the battle.

If Ozzy goes to RI and comes back into the game, he would fit the Trojan Horse clue. Say he comes back, goes to U and offers his allegiance because he was done bad by the S's and was voted out. Then when his gift (read that a vote at TC) is accepted, he sets his warriors loose at TC (the S's) and they take out one of the U's. Of course this would all be set in play prior to the merge with the S's. Could work.

Oscar needs to court votes in anticipation of making F3. This would be a move that could do that.

Plus, the idol makes people go crazy. Give it to his scheming tribe members and it's a win-win.
