The only way they could get the numbers advantage back is if three people flipped after 2 votes, or a Savii make is back in the secon time, and even then Coach could still offset it back to a tie with his idol if he caught wind of it.

I mean Coach says "he's lying through his teeth" so I was a little confused as to why they would tell him the right person. Of course Coach could have been talking about something entirely different.

I was just using that as one example and also why I said I don't see this happening. I could also see Albert/Sophie flipping if they realize that they are on the bottom of their alliance especially after the Edna vote. I as I said I don't it happening very several reasons but I wouldn't say it is impossible. For example, some people could turn on Coach if they realize they are handing him the game if they don't boot him (see Boston Rob). I don't think this happens because so far none of the spoilers seem to support this at all but I am just pointing out that it isn't impossible.

Could be that he is just got some clarification after the posted. Bottom line is that Maxx has been right on. Maxx is giving spoilers without giving us the entire game at one time. This leaves room for a lot of discussion about what he tells us. I, personally, don't see the U's wiping out the S's. Cockroach is a flipper and nobody is going to want to trust him. It would APPEAR that for at least 1 week the U's will have the numbers to keep going after the S's. But if the U's get to thinking that they are up a number and decide it is sacrifice one of their own or if someone on the U's feel their position within the U alliance is threatened by Cockroach's sudden switch, I can see any one of Albert, Sophie, Brandon or Edna making a move sooner rather than later to take the game into their own hands. Bottom line, lots of game left and I still see everyone in it.

I'm no longer positive how the numbers come out, but Keith goes home no matter what. There is 1 vote and he is on the losing end. And I have no problem with someone holding my feet to the fire on something I said. If I am wrong, call me on it. If I'm not clear, ask me about it. Either I worded something badly and wasn't articulate enough and will try to clarify or I am being vague on purpose. But I have no problem being held accountable.

Yeah, I was wondering about that too. I have no trouble believing that Savaii fails to put up an Oscar-winning performance, but it is interesting that they presumably figure out their act was ineffective and move on to Plan B. It also seems like such an Ozzy move to try to direct Upolu's vote onto a desired player rather than to figure out who they were originally targeting. Maxx also mentioned that the beginning of Episode 9 will be entertaining. I'm guessing that is to say "If you thought Cochran was uncomfortable when Savaii was encouraging him..." perhaps even with a bonus "If you thought Ozzy was petulant when Elyse got voted out..."

Posts: 64 11/01/11 02:40 PM More Recent Posts	What I don't understand is if the Upolu are such loyal, honest, god-fearing and integrity-minded individuals, why instead of targeting one of the loyal Savaii, they don't just turn on Cochran and vote him out. They would have the numbers advantage and could pick off the rest of the just as easily. I know Cochran isn't an immunity threat, but they can't get out Ozzy this week anyway. If I were on Upolu that would be my move. Better to go against 5 people you know are sticking together than someone that seems ready to flip flop with the wind. If a pagonging of the rest of Savaii does occur, at some point it will leave 6 Upolu + Cochran. If your Cochran all you need is to point out the obvious pecking order and you get the bottom 3 to vote will you and turn the game around. I don't put any credit into Cochran's strategic abilities though and I think him flipping this week is absolutely a stupid move for himself.
