(Duh) Doesn't JP dictate when everyone has to add a plate and what size it has to be? I would assume at this point of Dawns photo at least one other player is still in it. Another challenge requiring "focus" and balance, something that Ozzy would be good at.

The same amount that Dawn has in the photos above where she appears to be wobbling and struggling to keep her plates up. If they are lined up as they are presented in the first photo, this could be a chop shot of Ozzy's plates. Whoever it is, they look pretty steady although it could be a snap just before they lose it. Who knows. However I am thinking that Ozzy will win this...

Posts: 700 11/29/11 02:17 PM More Recent Posts	Is it just the light or are Ozzy's plates white with a blueish/grey stripe near rim, Dawn's plates are blue with a greyish stripe near rim & Whitney's plates are greyish with a white stripe near rim (as per first set of pics). If so, those are definitely Ozzy's white plates in 2nd of last set of pics.

So we at least know that at some point Ozzy and Dawn are tied with six plates stacked. No pics of Whitney's plates after the first set of pictures.

No picture of Whitney's plates but that is definitely Whitney's shirt in the right corner, foreground of the picture of Ozzy's plates in the second set of pictures. From her posture, it looks like she is still in it.

If Whitney was still in the challenge then she should be pretty much on the same alignment as Ozzy and Dawn. Wouldn't a picture from that angle also catch Dawn's plates? I'm thinking that it is very possible that Whitney outlasts Dawn. I dunno.

Ozzy definately has the white with grey stripe plates; Dawn's have a bluish cast with a dark stripe and Whitneys are grey with a white stripe. The plates above are definately Ozzys if you look at the plates he is eyeing in the first group of pictures. But perhaps we are making the wrong assumption that the players are standing in the position they play in. If you look at the picutres of Dawn making faces, you see right behind her to her right is the stone budda and the cross bars of bamboo. If you compare that to the group photo, you can see the budda/bamboo cross bars just to the left of the picture behind station #1. There is also a tiki mask right behind station #1 which is behind Dawn in the close up of her struggling. I think the plates Dawn ends up using are on station #1 (the left looking at the picture) and the white plates are in the middle. So that would mean that after "drawing spots" Dawn ends up on the left, Ozzy is in the middle and Whitney is on the right where we see the darker plates. Knowing that, it is unclear whether the angle would show Dawns plates or not to determine whether she is still in the game at this point.

Posts: 1371 11/29/11 07:49 PM MESS member More Recent Posts	Adding to that -- RI has a color scheme hierarchy. The white goes to the defender; the darkest to the newbie, or did last season. I haven't been paying attention this season, but we see that Ozzy has the lightest color. So they don't draw for spots; their position is pre-determined. Dawn's are darker than Ozzy's and have a darker stripe than the body of the bowl. Whitney has the darker bowl with a lighter stripe -- the inverse of Dawn's. Dawn's plates with the dark stripe are to Jeff's far left as he faces the plate stands. So she is farthest to the right from the perspective of the truelists. The china at the opposite end looks to have a lighter stripe than the bowl body, which would be Whitney. That would put Ozzy in the center. There are color-coded bands on the bottom horizontal of the stands. You can see the far right (players' POV) is dark (Dawn) and the far left is gray (Whitney), and I think I see a bit of white in the gab between Dawn's arm and her body. We see Ozzy's plates to Whitney's right in this pic below, as they should be. But we see Whitney's bowl with the white stripe in the left lower edge of this vidcap. The angle or ratio seems very tweaked, if you look at Whitney's body and how far it is from that bowl on the left. If her china and Ozzy's are in alignment, then Dawn's bowls would be to the right and out of frame here.
