THIS YEAR AND NEXT YEAR The Next Edition of “Survivor” Premieres Wednesday, Feb. 15 CBS Orders Two More Cycles for Broadcast in the 2012-13 Season Emmy Award Winner Jeff Probst Returns as Host and Executive Producer CBS announced today a February premiere date for the next SURVIVOR and ordered two more editions of the series for broadcast during the 2012-2013 season. The broadcasts next season will mark the 25^th and 26^th editions of television's longest-running hit reality competition series. Emmy Award winner Jeff Probst will return as host and executive producer for all three upcoming cycles. Probst has hosted SURVIVOR since its inception in May 2000. “I am extremely proud of the continuing success of SURVIVOR, which is due to the immense loyalty of our millions of fans,” said executive producer Mark Burnett. “We are excited to offer two more seasons of SURVIVOR and look forward to entertaining audiences for years to come.” “I am thrilled to continue working on the longest-running reality competition show with the world's greatest adventure crew for two more seasons,” said host and executive producer Jeff Probst. “We are so thankful for the supportive fans who remain with us every season, and we promise to deliver another year of quality television.” The 24^th edition of SURVIVOR premieres Wednesday, Feb. 15 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT).

I can't even remember most of the people who are cast these days due to their bland personalities. I certainly don't want to see them a second time around. You all put up these Second Chance wish lists and I have no idea who these people are. I have to Google an image just to be reminded and most of the time I still don't remember them and I have seen every damn episode of every damn season. If a long time fan doesn't remember these people then the casual viewer certainly won't give a shit about that theme either.

They had their chance. I don't even want 2 returning players a season. Look what happens when past players return (Boston Rob * Coach). They dominate airtime and the game and we don't get to know the newbies. All Stars is good idea every 10 seasons or so.

I dislike returning players, only a FvF's season works best with both new and old people. The next proper ASS season should be season 30, and most likely it will.

Also think season 30 would probably be great for that so we can get to hopefully know a few more new players and new heroes and villians can be created.

No shitty ass twists (except maybe a tribal swap). Showcase everyone, etc etc (I know... it won't happen )EXILE ISLAND, THE HII, AND REDEMPSHIT DON'T BRING ANYTHING TO THE SHOW.

But if not I guess I'd rather have a FvF or an all new cast, I'm sick of the 2 returning player seasons and although I like full all-star seasons I'm sure we would get the same 4th timers on, at least with a FvF there might be a chance to get 10 2nd timers on.

It just blows my mind. And now Coach is clearly making the finals with two members of his cult. So I say either all new contestants are all returnees. As far as gimmicky seasons like pairings and brains vs brawns, I could see them happening easily since they've already done sex, age, and even race! Might as well make it an entertaining gimmick. Even combining pairings and brains vs brawns would actually be pretty hilarious! Survivor: Beauty and the Geek. I mean it will be a while before I take this show seriously again after they bring back Rob a FOURTH time to hand him a win and now Coach of all people is running the season? It's like the fucking twilight zone.

I'm glad that they're making more seasons for us because that's what I really wish for, for them to continue the show whether a season is bad or not.
