I'm calling for an Amazing Race World in which pairs of racers from various countries would challenge each other and/or where individuals from various countries would be paired. I would like this Race to feature twenty or more pit stops with very, very difficult challenges.
Below are some suggested locations/scenes which might inspire and edify. I will expand the list from inspirational examples shared and from my own future finds.
"The Amazing Race has worldwide viewers in excess of 80 million and is currently aired on 20 different networks on four continents."
"...Each season of The Amazing Race has a reach of 16 million viewers across Asia through AXN, with a huge loyal following due to its outstanding ability to capture a sense of adventure. ...The Amazing Race...reaches over 23 territories in Asia Pacific. In Australia, The Amazing Race has been hugely successful, winning its timeslot each week and in New Zealand, the Season 7 finale on TVNZ (TV2) posted strong ratings with a 48% share in P18-39."

bakery in Japan I'd like to see if the Racers could sack up cakes as quickly as the server, or count the number of cakes she sacks, hiding the tray behind a screen. :)

Site of Reversible Destiny, Cleaving Hall, Yoro Park
"The Cleaving Hall is the counterpart to the Geographical Ghost, but unlike the latter is designed so as to lead the visitor into utter darkness. Although the two are similarly structured, in the Cleaving Hall the visitor is deprived of the sense of sight completely, making it difficult to reach the end of the corridor." Low-light film the Racers feeling their way down the tunnel.

New Zealand--present Racers with folding electric Yike bikes [invented and manufactured in NZ http://www.youtube.com/wa...;feature=player_embedded ], batteries, and lots of fine print. Have the ride long enough to require two batteries which the Racers wouldn't know about unless they read the fine print thoroughly.
