Damn it. Every time they show the winners running and everyone cheering, I feel a golfball lump on my throat. This happens every single finale. No matter who it is.

No offense just asking. I only get teary if a team I care about wins I don't cry every year, I feel bad though. Wish I was more emotional.

Yes, the final several minutes are always sad. The music + the realization that the long journey with these contestants is over and we'll never see them again hits in. Then the wide angle of everyone clapping as it goes to the dark and lonely credits. If you don't feel any emotional sadness or loss then I feel sorry for you.

It only happened when I saw Kisha and Jen run through the finish line. A good kind of lump...

The worst kind happened when Eric and Danielle won.

I'm with STUPID!

it's certainly emotional...shh...but some seasons are more 'cry' worthy than others. That's what TAR does best...human relationships. When they end for us, it's touching...except those times when it's a relief...

I felt emotional when Joyce and Uchenna won. But I also felt emotional that season during her head shaving and emergence.

I'm a sucker for real stuff like that.

That's exactly how I felt. On both counts.

I also at least had a catch in my throat when Chip & Kim, Uchenna & Joyce, and Nat & Kat all won.

Not crying but I definitely feel kind of uplifted every single time, yes. Well, maybe not TK and Rachel...

Some wins I appreciate more than others, obviously, but there's just something about the realization of what these two people went through to get to this point and that feeling of ultimate triumph that really hits me.

The emotions you feel is because the season's ending - not because of the winners or anything. It means there's no TAR to watch out for again.

Just the simple fact that the Snowfucks would have easily won the race had they not been "cheated" out of the finals...I'll bet it's absolutely agonizing for their fantards. Laugh

And the show decided to remind us of how awesome they think the Snowturds by (1) not lumping them in with the "however many teams fell by the wayside" thing they usually do in the Previously and (2) having them be the only non-F3 confessional (the fact that it was about God made it that much better they didn't win).

It's funny, 'coz 3-4 years ago this would've been very true. Now, there's still the TAR:LA3 finale to look forward to, and after that we have around 4 more weeks of HaMerotz 2, and by that time, a combo of TAR20/Australia 2/China Rush 3 will be airing in quick succession, and before you know it, we've gone through an entire year of TAR.

The running to the finish mat has ALWAYS been emotional for me. <3

It's definitely one of the most climatic and amazing moments of reality TV - way better than Survivor or BB's reading of the votes.
