At least Lee and Crystal seem to realize that success in this business takes time and hard work and that they probably won't be household names. What's more, they seem okay with that.

That's what I loved about Lee and Crystal. They didn't have and preconceived notions of fame or massive mainstream success. They were just artists trying to make a dime and thankful they were. Lee and Crystal are my favourite F2 AI ever. Rooted for them since hollywood week till the finale. and I don't know about Crystal but Lee is very thankful for his fans and what he's achieved. He's always thanking everyone and then fans on twitter for their support. He's a really humble guy. Stefano will be back in his apartment in no time.

Stefano saying he doesn't want to be the next Lee Dwyze isn't particularly offensive--Lee won, and yet his CD only sold 125K. Nobody wants to be humiliated like that. But it's an apples and oranges comparison, because Stefano didn't win and it's extremely unlikely that he'll ever get a recording contract. The writer, who is a moron, has fallen into the trap of wondering how many random contestants from the lower parts of the top 10 will succeed from this year's group. The answer is of course zero, as it has been for most of Idol's history.

I didn't go to the shitastic tour this year, but I heard Stefano took his shirt off every night before launching into the Usher number which closes his set, driving the Fraus crazy (and everyone else scrambling for their barf bags). Anyways, the little twat basically got his contract with 19 Entertainment because of the frenzied reaction of a bevy of overzealous fraus. I never understood 19E's policy of catering to the fraus since they never seem to spend money on music.
