u know what really pisses me off? they just released BECKER! on dvd but they cant release more survivor which is still in the top 15 shows around right now
fucking stupid! i have emailed cbs 5 times now and have recieved 0 responeses back!

I think MOST of us have emailed SOMEONE at some point in time and either get the typical thanks for writing email or nothing at all...it's a lost cause...
But I suppose we'll play this out like so many of our favorites and NEVER GIVE UP!! |

Reality shows just don't sell very well on DVD. Offhand I can't really even think of any that have been successful on DVD (aside from The Hills, which
is more of a scripted show anyway).
The Apprentice only released 1 season on DVD, The Amazing Race released a couple of seasons that didn't sell well. American Idol only has a few "Best Of" DVD compilations. But the same thing applies to scripted shows - if the first seasons don't do very well, sometimes they stop releasing later seasons on DVD. It's very frustrating for consumers, because you don't know whether all of the seasons will be released (unless it's a really popular show like Desperate Housewives or Grey's Anatomy).

I think the only thing that would really hit them would be a physical copy of a petition hand written and signed. I wish there was a way to get everyone on the
board to sign it. lol. We could always mail it to the next person and have a responsible trustworthy person send it in when its done.
Another thing is CBs doesn't really release many shows on DVD as it is. I wish NBC would get Survivor. They release EVERYTHING on DVD. Even if it doesn't sell well. Bt then again NBC is just a better network anyway. |
