Posts: 5372 03/04/12 09:38 PM Reply Quote More Recent Posts	Correct me if I am wrong, but did Phil say that this was the first time a team didn't complete a task and not get eliminated? If so, he is wrong, Rob, Deena and Meredith all couldn't complete the road block in TAR 7. I was just curious.

A team could have got penalized twice and still could continue racing. This leg style is best saved for the end of the season where efficient task completing is rewarded.

Posts: 142 03/04/12 11:34 PM Reply Quote More Recent Posts	I took it the same way as you did Upolu so I must have also misheard it. Also, didn't it used to be a 4 hour penalty if a team couldn't complete a roadblock ? I wonder if that would have made a difference this time.

If for some outside reason they can't complete it (in this case they ran out of bottles ), they have shorter penalties I think.

Occasionally a task will have a separate penalty if there's a reason it couldn't be completed (running out of supplies). I wonder how these two would have done if they'd had to complete the first task and then he failed the second.
