I believe Mike S was also a leader and provider for his tribe before departure from he game, both men really loved the game and exipranced what Jeff would call "near death" evacuation on survivor. It still seems kind of random though. They were the both the most rememarible Medivacs in survivor history, just a thought.

Yes, Skupin was a huge deal back in 2001, but that was TEN YEARS AGO when Survivor was watched by 30 million people. Again, today's casuals probably have no idea who they are. It doesn't make any sense to cast them.

Posts: 221 03/19/12 05:34 PM Registered User Reply Quote More Recent Posts	Today's casuals would know who they were if they watched their seasons.It makes plenty of sense to cast them.Theres a difference between playing a whole season of Survivor and having to leave the game due to injury.Russell Swan and Mike Skupin fall in that category.They did not get to return to play the game because their injuries were considered bad at the time.

I mean is Danielle DiLorenzo really one of the Top 5 Female Villains EVER? I wouldn't even put her in my Top 20. I'm sure this issue has been beaten to death however.

Probably two of the worst "injuries" we've seen on the show. Both were big time tribe leaders, and were both pretty well-liked.

Hopfully not, but if it's there's two returnees, I would say that chances for it are good. Especially if it's Mike and Russell returning for a second shot, redeeming themselves after their med evacs.

Posts: 9648 03/19/12 07:19 PM Registered user Reply Quote More Recent Posts	Jeff has a well-reported man-crush on Russell Swan and I think he's been a lock to return ever since Samoa finished airing. Russell's lack of activity on Facebook and Twitter also points to his being on. Survivor is basically a vanity project for Jeff at this point. It's all about him bringing back his favorites and doing what he wants. Redemption Island and South Pacific were evidence of this. I think Mike and Russell S. returning with a group of newbies wouldn't be that improbable.
