Honestly though, I wouldn't have chosen either of those as leading singles. NCOE might work as single #4 but not as single #2. There are at least 5 other tracks that WOULD work perfect in the 1-2 spot IMO. Just a shame and poor decisions. Hopefully they pick one of those 5 and give it one more go - and hopefully radio isn't so jaded against him they won't give them at least a chance. BTW, my girlfriend loves the show PLL and she's also a HUGE Cuckoo fan (it's one of her favorites off the cd). She is very excited to see and hear him on there. When will it air, do we know? I think Never Close Our Eyes is the best song on the album and the most radio friendly of any of the songs on the album. I don't think it was a wrong single choice going with that song. I don't think Adam would get significant radio play no matter what song he put out or in what order. Radio wasn't feeling this album at all. I don't think Adam even got to 4 or 5 million AI with both Never Close Our Eyes and Better Than I Know Myself. I'm not chart expert but that's very little from my knowledge. I think to impact iTunes sales in a significant way, it at least has to be 20 million-30 million AI on the lower end of the scale. He sold 150,000 copies in the U.S. which is a small miracle considering he was really selling on mainly name recognition. He has an audience but mainstream media isn't feeling him. It's really a shame because the album is a good pop album with a lot of catchy fun tunes. I read somewhere that Adam has one of the lowest selling #1 albums ever which saddned me but not a surprise. He put out two great music videos which I appreciate since a lot of music videos suck. He did a lot of things right but I guess it wasn't meant to be a huge success story. I just hope he continues making a living doing what he loves and continues to push forward (with or without a major label). His voice is quite the gift and very unique.

Everything has been recycled at some point so you are copying someone's style, idea or fashion somewhere in the world. and does it matter if Adam did copy Bill? (which I don't think he did) I can point out 50 people at the mall who dress the same.

I've had my moments of questioning it, but I like him and like his music. If others like other somnambulent voices from seasons past, so be it. I used to like some of those voices myself, even if that is no longer the case.

Adam had a twitter party tonight and actually talked about his hair color choice saying he was that blond when he lived in Berlin which is when the above picture was taken.... soooooo does that mean that Bill copied Adam? or that anyone who ever dyed their hair blond since 2003 copied him?? Miki, Adam knows who bill is, he's commented that he thinks he's beautiful. They have a similar style but I wouldn't say either is copying the other...fashion is very fluid.

I guess all the gays know each other in the singing world since there are so few out there right now. I've listened to Never Close Our Eyes 73 times. I love the song. I'm also obsessed with the music video the same way I love Carly Rae's Call Me Maybe video. I love when people put effort into music videos.

See your logic is flawed for more than a few reasons. 1) you said that look for Bill was in 2010 so.....who waits 2 years to "copy" someone's style? This is Bill in 2012 2) if you think the person in these pictures (all pre-idol) needs someone else to inspire his look you're a bigger idiot than even I imagined 2004 at burning man before Idol sometime around 2005 and finally 2009 photoshoot for his album 3) this is Bill from 98-09 his style pretty much stayed exactly the same - skater punk with big hair - funny how when Adam came on the scene his style changed completely even wearing spikes like Adam.

Regular edition was 10.00 Then at the back of the store, the deluxe version was on display for 11.99 Last time I checked, the album was in the 90s positions on the Canadian albums chart. They've disappeared with the chart so I have no idea if he's still in the top 100 albums in Canada last thursdays update. I have always noted how much better his both albums charted in Canada as opposed to the U.S. I think when he tours he should definitely do at least a Toronto stop and a Montreal stop. I think he could sell out a few shows in Canada. I also saw on display Carrie's "Blown Away" cd for 10.00, Kelly's "Stronger" for 10.00, One Direction's "Up All Night" for 10.00, and Hedley's "Storms" for 10.00.
