The tour opened in Canada on October 25, 2011 at the Canon Theatre in Toronto, starring Sahr Ngaujah and Adesola Osakalumi, with a scheduled run until November 6, 2011. From November 15 to December 11, 2011 it played at the Curran Theatre in San Francisco. From December 2011 to January 2012 the production played in the Ahmanson Theater of the Los Angeles Music Center.(from Wiki)SLD I saw it in SF. We were luck to have Sahr Ngaujah in the lead and it was a evening. It made you want to get up and dance while telling a serious story that I was not familiar with the details. I see a lot of shows, and some you enjoy but only need to see once and others you want to see every couple of years because you know it is going to be a good time. Fela! is one of those shows I hope will come back to San Francisco...
