Posts: 4336 05/17/12 12:10 PM Reply Quote More Recent Posts	Seemed on the surface to serve no purpose. Did she feel the jury needed to hear she voted her out to honor her alliance with Chels and Sab? Kim admitted she had some fear Christina might get a sympathy vote.

Posts: 8187 05/17/12 12:13 PM Reply Quote More Recent Posts	She didn't have the same "they can't win" perception of Christina and Alicia that viewers had...She figured if the jury hated her enough to not vote for her over Chelsea and Sab that they also wouldn't vote for her over Christina.. and that Christina hadn't backstabbed anyone while Chelsea/Sab shared her blame..

Yea, I think the decision to remove Christina was as much because she was a threat in Kim's mind as it was a move to honor the alliance. Kim just about blew a fuse going over every possible scenario there was. She played a strong game.

Sab being so eloquent and all could also sway votes away from Kim on the jury (though this didn't happen when Sab was in the Final 3). Also, Christina was a sure jury vote for Kim.

That kind of makes Sabarina a hypocrite when she later said she wanted to go to the final with the best and let the best woman win.

Which is the opposite of what Christina did. At the final 4, Christina basically let Kim know that she'd still vote for Kim if she got booted. She kept emphasizing that she understood that it was just a game and she wouldn't have any hard feelings. If you want to get voted off, all you have to do is let someone know that you'll vote for them to win if you're on the jury.

This is exactly why I think Kim was so successful. She would be a great chess player. When you hear her in interviews, she had projected out the possibilities of huge numbers of possible actions and influences. The complicated tree of causes and effects. To the point of it stressing her out and driving her a bit crazy, which the great Chess players often are. She had plans for what to do if Troyzan got the upper hand. Plans for if Alicia got control. What happens if I vote out Chelsea? And then when she decided on her final path, and all the levels of Inception collapsed, she could relax.

Plus, taking Christina & Chelsea to the end would have given a presumably bitter jury so many different options to avoid voting for Kim. I think voting for Christina was smart, and I think Christina made the right decision when she surrendered.
