I finished re-reading HBP on Saturday. I managed to get thru it without crying this time. I can't wait for the new book on Friday night.

I enjoyed it the most as well. Lots of action right from the start. Dragged a bit in the middle, but ended big too. Except the epilogue, which was probably just there to make us all feel a little better after all the deaths and personal disappointments.

I felt the same about the epiloge. She could have just done another Chapter(maybe call it 'The Aftermath')and called it a day.

Thought the epilogue blew chunks but I loved the book overall. The final duel rocked!

I'm a romantic, so I always like a happy ending. I finished reading the book on Sunday afternoon. I read yesterday that JK Rowling said that she's going to make an encyclopedia of the characters from HP.

I just flew from California to Chicago and next to me were two gray haired ladies with CD players listening hard the whole way, then we landed and they were
both saying--oh no, oh no, I can't leave yet!
Luckily I was on the aisle because they really didn't want to stand up and put the CD players away to grab their carry ons.. Sure enough, turns out they were listening to HBP and had been during their whole vacation and they were at the final battle when the plane landed. I'd be glued to my seat too.  of course they'd end up in Fort Myers Florida if they did
that.
