I know many here hate it but the Aitu 4 triumph was just awesome for me. Maybe it was the editting but it just felt great that they won over the annoying Raro people. Yes, edit might be at play but still... there was quite a lot of satisfaction from watching it. The racial divide was great as well. The twists were relatively good. Things that could've been better about the season was if Ozzy did not dominate the individual ICs, Becky & Sundra were more adept and less riding-on-coattails-ish, more characters such as Brad, Jenny, Rebecca and even Sundra & Becky to have more character developmentand and also if the HII had played a more active role. Other than that, top-notch season. Gotta say that it was a lot LESS BAD than the general Sucks consensus. Granted, it had a HORRIBLE and incredibly tough to watch first five episodes and the 2 stupidest of stupid twists (Luxury camp VS Hell Camp as well as the first merge tribal council that screwed Michelle) but the season really picked up after the original Moto and original Ravu were mixed up and carried on into the merge. There were plenty of annoying people on the cast... Dreamz, Alex, Mookie, Lisi and Rocky are the main ones. Loved Earl, Yau-Man and Michelle though. Anyway, like I said, the post-Episode 6 and the post-merge were definitely really good and had really good moments like Edgardo's blindsight, Yau-Man and Earl's HII, Yau-Man surprisingly being competent at challenges, Earl's masterminding of the entire game...etc etc The season definitely started off really really bad, I feel that in general, it was an even better season than Guatemala, which didn't really have a particularly bad period of episodes but was relatively bland as compared to Fiji's later 2-thirds or so. The jury (mainly Lisi and Alex) are a bunch of bitter sore losers though, IMO. So kudos to Survivor Fiji and on to Survivor: China! Though I guess I can see why "Survivor purists" on SS might not like it... It was pretty heavy on twists (HII, Exile, racial divide, mutiny, message-in-a-bottle)... etc. Some also didn't like the apparently recruited cast as well as the poor spreading out of character airtime/development. I found it to be one of the best seasons based on my judging since I enjoyed it thoroughly. Fiji takes a big hit to #9 out of 14 seasons only because of the horrible first 5 episodes and the dreadful casting-recruitment that gave us quite a number of highly unlikeable characters as well as some of the most retarded twists in Survivor history. Otherwise, I can see it ranking like #5 or #6 because the later half really was good.

Borneo was a little slow-going but the Final 4 was awesome as it comprised of 4 REALLY unique, complex and entertaining people. Yes, the Pagonging was a little bit of a snoozefest but I felt it was one of the better seasons, especially in terms of character/cast. And it WAS the season that started it all. So that should gain some credit there. Anyway, Vanuatu sucked for me because it spiralled downwards after the LeAnn boot. I loved Ami and the women's alliance and it was devastating to see how it got infiltrated by Chris, who despite being a great player, is so damn annoying and arrogant. It had the worst Final 3 in the history of Survivor, in my opinion. Scout was a fucking annoying little twunt, Twila was just plain stupid and annoying and Chris, I've already explained. All-Stars' Final 3 was almost as bad since Jenna L was a major immature bitch, Rob M was a arrogant fucktard and Amber was just riding on coattails all the way. Thailand's was meh since Jan was just literally carried to the F3, Clay I didn't really hate or like him but I did like Brian. So it wasn't that bad... All in all though, All-Stars had to be the worst season. The dominant Jenna L-Rupert-Rob M-Amber-Big Tom alliance was retarded and the rest of the cast basically got pagonged away. =/ Hugely disappointing for an All-Stars season.

The only thing that made it memorable was the search for water thing. Palau's location wasn't memorable at all. The only thing that made it memorable was the bright water. Stephenie and Ian were very colorful characters. The only colorful character on Thailand was Ghandia. Shii Ann wasn't that entertaining on that season and Robb is overrated as a character.

It's the only season I can think of where your entire opinion of the season is based around what you think of the winner. That's the main reason I think it gets such uneven "ranking" results.
